Realizing Baptist Prep’s Bible classes cover the Creation in detail, we wanted to have a trip that brought many of these teachings and observations to life. Because Sophomore year is a perfect time to explore colleges, we planned the trip to include college visits. Students experienced college tours and received “swag”!

On day one of the trip, we visited two excellent Christian colleges in Nashville, Tennessee—Lipscomb and Belmont Universities. On day two, we headed to Kentucky to see the Creation Museum. How inspiring to see and read scientific answers to many important questions we all have about the Creation Story! After eating a great lunch at Noah’s Cafe, students enjoyed the Cosmos Planetarium show. Day three found us at the Ark Encounter, where we explored the life-sized decks and saw ways Noah’s family could logistically make that legendary journey work.

It was a true pleasure to observe deeper connections forming between “old” friends and new connections taking place between students who had previously not known each other.
